Why do I always buy packets of herbal tea thinking that it will be good for me, make a cup, find it tastes like dishwater & then put the packet in the cupboard for 6 months
Please tell me, it's not just me

The taste is always a disappointment after the smell. I think you need to feel virtuous or something when drinking them.

I have a cup of peppermint - tastes like Extra strong mints dipped in dishwater

I'm a brown rice/hippy type of person - but give me a good strong coffee any day. I can just about drink fruit tea but green tea/chamomile tea I can't even get down. I suffer with insomnia and I've tried with chamomile tea but it just makes me gag. That said when I had really bad conjunctivitus a few years back soaked chamomile tea bags on eyes are fab really soothing - so I guess it does have its uses!!!

I am determined to drink the whole cup but I take a mouthful & then pull a face
