Tooth extraction

I had a tooth removed last Thursday under sedation. It all went well.
Obviously I was a bit groggy afterwards. I think they said the stitches would dissolve in a few days, does anyone have any experience of how long it takes? The stitches are actually annoying me quite a bit!

About 1-2 weeks for stitches to dissolve usually.

Thank you. Not too long then hopefully!

A couple of weeks for extractions to properly start to heal though I've never had stitches, mine were just left to heal naturally, yes huge gaping holes, but one healed beautifully most recently whereas got dry socket from the other, more painful than childbirth by far!

Mine took around a week to start falling out. One just would not budge and I was due to see the dentist to get it out, I was brushing my teeth about to head over to the dentist a finally it came out. I called to cancel the appointment but was told to come anyway so he could check my mouth over.

Thanks guys. I had dry socket a few years ago with a tooth extraction. But the pain I had in this tooth when I got an infection and my face swelled up was worse!
