Peri- menopausal women needs help!

please can somebody tell me that hot flushes can't just affect the face but no where else? My face constantly goes very red and feels that it's burning but the rest of my body is unaffected, this has been happening on a regular basis since february.

I don't know for sure, but I've never heard of a hot flush affecting only one part of the body. I often get a red hot face which is not a genuine blush-reaction. I hate it, but that's what my face does. I don't know why it would suddenly start happening to you, though.

BTW your peri-menopausal title gave me a fright...because I've been chewing over the idea of posting a peri-menopause thread, and I don't want to! Boo hoo! Too soon!
