Stomach bug - anyone had this?

Started Sunday where I didn’t feel quite myself. Felt tired, teary (for no reason), and cold. Went to bed at 7pm with mild stomach pains.
Woke up yesterday feeling very tired/no energy, felt slightly warm & pains (upper stomach). Felt bloated & uncomfortable. Was sick later in the evening.
Today still got pains/cramps. Been napping on & off. No appetite, been drinking cooled boiled water.
Feel rubbish anyone experienced anything similar?

I haven’t been physically sick but my stomach sounds like a factory over the last dew days.. bloated and also tummy feels very sore

Cupcakes19 · 03/12/2024 21:02

Thanks, will have a look did wonder earlier. Thats how I started, bloating & knew something was up.
it’s the cramps/pains just on going thought would’ve eased off. Hope to sleep it off!

I had this a few weeks ago...very odd virus

I didn't feel hungry for about a week, which was really unusual (and beneficial, tbh)

It lasted about a week

My Adult DD, has felt sick since coming home from work today, been sick twice (large amount) and diarrhea like water. Also has stomach cramps.

Colourbrain · 04/12/2024 10:33

My daughter has similar, vomited once on Sunday and has felt rubbish since, very little appetite. She has had a string of similar illnesses this autumn/winter.

OAPapparently · 04/12/2024 10:40

I and my DC have had it, it’s a really nasty bug. My child was violently sick and slept for 2 days straight in between all of the sickness. I felt really lousy and the symptoms were something else. It wasn’t like a normal stomach bug at all. The other children in my child’s class who returned after also being unwell with it all thought they had had food poisoning, so I assume it didn’t feel like a standard stomach bug for them either.

Cupcakes19 · 04/12/2024 13:39

I agree it isn’t a normal stomach bug! I also started questioning yesterday if I’d eaten something (had a takeaway on Friday). Feel like I’m over the worse just feel very tired!
Hope you are on the mend now.

Yes. I posted last week. Day 5 is the day you will start to feel better. Lost weight. ( 8 pounds ). Still not right but so much better. I didn’t know if I could do another day. On day 3 I felt better, day 4 was bad again.

OhshitSharon · 04/12/2024 13:46

Yes, DD had the same last week, stomach pains and vomiting (large amounts but only a handful of times over 2-3 days) and no diarrhoea, just the puking.

Dozeyduck · 04/12/2024 15:13

I've got it now too. Not been sick but have dodgy stomach lots of cramps and been sleeping solidly for 2 days. Feel terrible, zero energy and also very teary as someone else said. Weird bug!

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 04/12/2024 17:07

We're heading into peak noro season

Catsinaflat · 10/12/2024 21:58

I have had cramps in lower pelvis. No other symptoms other than being absolutely exhausted . Had blood tests six weeks ago and everything fine. No idea why I feel like this. Feel as if I should have diarrhoea but I don't!
