Hi everyone, I just wanted somewhere to share this. I'm absolutely shitting myself

I went to the GP today after suffering some discomfort in my lower abdomen for a few weeks, I've been hoping it was a bug and would pass. I've had an exam and been put forward for every test going, they think it's something to do with my lower bowel and bladder.

When I asked what it could be she said 'well let's just say we are going to be getting to know each other quite well'

I'm so bloody scared now. I have an 18 month old who I adore and I'm worried about not being here for her.

I'm probably overreacting but I'm feeling very afraid right now.

Hi OP, I can't offer any advice but I know how your feeling. DH has had stomache issues for months (typical bloke) , and after many excuses he finally went to the GP, he's now having a camera both ends this week, they want to do a thorough check as his mum had bowel cancer. Despite everyone trying to say it will be OK, it really doesn't help does it 🅾
