Liver failure?

I know someone who has liver cancer. She burst a blood vessel and she is in hospital now. She is in a high dependency unit with no visitors allowed except for one who has to gown up and wear PPE. She is also very yellow.

Does anyone know when someone is like this, is it only just a matter of time? It is there any cure or help or treatment available? How long?

Hi, OP. We're sorry to hear about your friend's illness. We can see your thread didn't receive any replies in Chat, so we've moved it to General Health in the hope that someone with some experience of this may be able to help.

Better to ask the person who is allowed to visit her. Everyone’s situation is different.
