Lung disease.....

anyone got any knowledge of this?? my dad has just been told this morning that he has lung disease and has to go an have a scan to find how bad it is.

Have been looking on google but find i'm upsetting myself reading the worse.

Was he not given any more info? Is he a smoker?

there are laods of different types. until he gets a definate dx, then dont google. once he has a dx then go to the lung foundation i think its called.

they think it may be asbestos related but at the same time he has smoked since he was 14 and is now 66.

Like misdee says, there are so many different things it could be. Don't do any Googling until you know for sure. Hope all goes okay.
