I have had a really sore throat for the last two days - no cold though. Its so painful that its agony to swallow and kept me awake quite a bit last night). I also have a slight temp. Paracetamol/ibropfen just about makes it bearable but I don't ever remember having such a bad throat. I don't want to waste the GP'S time as I know if its a virus there isn't much they can do but how long would you give it before making an appointment??????
