Is this a mole?

I'm not sure if this is a mole on my arm. I think it's new. It's a red, raised, scaly bump with an irregular edge and the skin around one part looks a little flaky. I know it's not smart to seek medical advice online however my GP surgery is a nightmare and I wanted to ask if anyone has ever come across this before, and if it is anything to worry about, before I attempt to get an appointment. Thank you!

It looks more like seborrheic keratosis than a mole to me, Op.

Always worth getting skin lesions checked out if you are concerned, especially if they are new, changing shape or colour, bleeding or getting caught on clothing. You could send a photo to your GP, if your practice has that facility, or get it looked at.
