Thursh after sex

Hi, I have been with my partner for 7 years and every time we have sex I seem to get thrush. I have tried everything and while taking medication (fluconazole weekly) keeps it away it always comes back once I stop. I have tried changing diet, dont use scented products, not on the pill etc. My partner has also been treated many times to make sure we are not passing it back to each other. If we use condoms we don't seem to have any problems but as soon as we have sex without a condom I get thrush even if he doesn't finish inside me as I know that can mess up your PH levels. While the condoms are a good solution for now, we don't particularly like using them and we do hope to have children one day. Has anyone experienced this? Am i just allergic to my partner? He is the only person I have slept with but he has slept with others before me and they never had this issue. I thought it may be the irritation from sex but as we dont have a problem with condoms it cant be that. I should also say we have both had full sexual health panels and are both clear. Please do help if you can as this is exhausting.

You are most likely allergic to his sperm.

I had this with one boyfriend and every time, I would be sore and get thrush. We had to use condoms as I was so sick of it.

If you use toys etc, make sure you are also washing those.

I still get thrush occasionally after ovulation as I must just have a very unbalanced PH.

@Sdpbody Even if he isn't 'finishing' inside me? So frustrating! We are using condoms and everything is fine but not ideal for the long term. I'm 26 and we've been having this issue since I was 19...
