Should I get this looked at? It's risen, doesn't hurt but is definitely new.

Weird mark on leg?

I'd get it checked out.

I had something similar on my leg. It was still there after 5 months so I went to the GP. Photos taken, referred under 2 week suspected cancer route and about a week after the GP appointment it fell off. No bleeding, nothing and not even a mark on my skin to indicate it ever existed so I advised my GP. Six months later still nothing heard from Dermatology.

@TroysMammy thank you, I'll call the gp today. Obviously I'm hoping it's nothing but it's new and I've not seen anything like it before so it's a little concerning.

No harm in a GP appointment to check as no one on here can tell you exactly what it is, but it does look like something I have a lot of. seborrheic keratosis it's a type of wart and likely to develop with age. They can be left if not causing any problems.

I have an appointment at 8:40, they've tied it in with some blood test results I've been waiting for so I'll feel less silly if it's nothing!

I've worried myself I think as I'm 29 with a 5yo DD so my mind jumped to the worst. I'll update you all shortly.

Update - GP totally uninterested and said just to keep an eye - relieved! Will just monitor. Thanks all!

@LadyoftheCheeses I'll give it a week before it drops off 😀

@TroysMammy as a sporner, I hope it does 😂

Is it a bit crusty? My DH has had several that look similar, I think it was called seborrhoaic ketosis.

I'm experiencing this. I have an irritated Seb K. It's 6mm. Do you have/had any that itch?

Yes quite a few have itched then also gone darker. GP referred me and consultant said absolutely nothing to worry about, they tend to develop more in women and on the trunk, and around breasts 🤦🏼‍♀️

Try something like aveeno on them for a week or so, see if it eases up then visit GP just to check them over. If they are really irritating they can either be scraped off or frozen in my own experience.
