I have a crack in my upper molar. Dentist advised I need root canal work and a crown but no appts till new year so these were booked in.
Last week I was in so much pain radiating from my tooth to the jaw and up to my eye that I was referred by 111 to a dental hospital for an emergency appt.
They did the first stage of root canal work and said my dentist will do the next stage. I thought they said they had taken out the nerve but I'm still in pain when I bite on that side.
Can anyone explain why this might be?
