Ongoing diarrhoea on sertraline?

I started on 50mg and then increased the dosage just before 4 weeks to 100mg! First 2 weeks were pretty brutal with nausea, watery diarrhoea many times a day.

This has settled significantly but I am still getting about 1-2 bouts of loose stools / diarrhoea every day. Nearly on week 5 - should this have settled by now?

I don’t really want to change medication as I am starting to feel a little better anxiety wise. Did anybody else have this 5 weeks in still?

It’s probably because you’ve increased the dose, once your body is used to the 100mg it will calm down. Very normal to have side effects return when you increase in my experience, but they do go eventually so hang in there!
