Tonsillitis

My daughter is 2years and 7months old and is on her 14 case of tonsillitis this year. She has an expedited ENT referral, which I'll be chasing tomorrow. Please can anyone help? Any advice etc, thank you.

When my daughter was young she had tonsillitis several times and the GP was unsure whether or not she should have them removed. Not wanting to subject her to an operation, I did nothing.
She ended up having them out when she was an adult which is a worse operation.

Thanks for this! I'm so worried about her having them removed but it's better sooner than later I think x
