What could this be? Sleep issues, waking up absolutely freezing?

I have a GP appointment in 3 weeks but I am not sure if I need to call and ask for an emergency one or not.

I have been wakening before my alarm, frozen to the core. Not just chilly but absolutely frozen cold. I also have a headache which presents like brain freeze. it’s not a pleasant way to start the day. Sometimes I will fall asleep again and I have the weirdest dreams. They aren’t nightmares but small, random worries that grow huge arms and legs. Example being, have I turned something off at work such as a tap, have a flooded the place, what about the electrics and stock etc. once I am up and about, I warm up, headache clears and I know no tap has been left on and what a ridiculous dream I have had. The dreams are very stressful in my sleep.

Timing wise, this is all within 30 minutes or so of my alarm going off at 6. It’s happening more frequently, hence the GP appointment. I have an overactive thyroid and Graves’ disease but bloods in range and were checked so I don’t think it’s that.

Not sure re the headache, but ive had similar experiences when my anxiety is high.
There was no immediate cure for me but these things helped reduce the frequency
-if having a tea an hour or less before bed id make it decaf
-weighted blanket
-warm pyjamas/sleeping with fluffy socks on.
-can you reduce the things in your life that are causing you anxiety/stress

I think a GP appointment is a good idea. Only you know if you think this needs to be dealt with more urgently.
