High Bp readings

I had a pill review yesterday - and my blood pressure was high so I’ve been sent away to test 4 times a day for a week. It’s currently 122/96. I have had a tension type headache for the last couple of days too. Is this really high?? Thanks

So the top is within range and the bottom one is slightly high.
Nothing super concerning.

Sometimes patients tend to get all worked up at the surgery giving them high blood pressure reading although in reality it is perfectly fine.

Keep logging it down.
Cut down on caffeine and any soda drinks.
Try to de-stress I know easier said than done.

Also please let your gp know if you get calf pain or migraines whilst on the pill....as it can cause a stroke.

Oh thank you. I will do - I am haven’t actually started the pill yet - I think they might suggest the coil if it stays high….i can definitely cut down on caffeine..
