Does anyone ever get ulcers all the time!!
I might go couple weeks without them at most, none yesterday and 3 today.

They bloody kill & put me right off eating any food because of it, on my tongue my cheek etc!!

I started to use listerine daily along with brushing my teeth and it didn't make a difference. Is it a deficiency?? Driving me mad!!

Thanks!!

Another poster has already mentioned this but please switch your toothpaste to one which doesn’t have any SLS in it. Sensodyne whitening I believe doesn’t have any but always check because a lot of mainstream toothpastes have this. I don’t get any mouth ulcers anymore unless I’m caught out with toothpaste (forgetting it whilst away etc) and then they come straight back with a vengeance. Please please please try this and I really hope it helps. I suffered for years until I found this tip online.

I will try this now!
Thank you!

Used to get them all the time in my 20s so feel your pain. It's miserable when you can't eat or talk easily!!

Apparently they happen less often as you get older. Defo happened when run down. My dad feels he had them less often when he stated using mouthwash but I'm not sure they are to do with oral hygiene?

Yeah honestly even talking makes me irritated! I read it was to do with oral hygiene but by these comments I assume it's more than that. Seems maybe the toothpaste!
I do feel a bit stressed at the moment so probably contributes!
Thank you

Folic Acid helps with mouth ulcers.

I've just started taking b12 vitamins that have folic acid in so hopefully they help!

I used to get them all the time. A hygienist told me it might be one of the ingredients in the toothpaste I was using (sorry can’t remember the name of the chemical). She recommended I switch to Sensodyne Pronamel and I’ve never had one since.
