This seems to have stopped so thought I would start a new one.

running 5 miles 3/4 times a week.

tried 7 miles today but really struggled, too hot.
think I should stay at 5 for a while.

Any tips?
good music?

I am thinking of listening to stories now that I am going longer. Would like to work my way to 10 miles

Hi, I'd like to join. Not sure how far I am going as using my schools running track but I am jogging (slowly) for 20 minutes at a time. I am planning a pavement jog today and will map the distance.
I listen to mp3 player. I like the idea of listening to stories though.

I've been doing 5 or 6K 3 times a week. Used to listen to a podcast that tells you when you stop and start aka couch to 5k programme. Now I'm at 5k I listen to my own stuff on ipod shuffle. Fab stuff, although currently off with a chesty cough, that doesn't seem to want to shift.

What an excellent idea to listen to stories. I like that (only running in a gym atm - can't manage long )
