Hiya,

My boy (just over 1 yr) had a cold about a month ago, but since then still seems to have some phlegm left in his chest / throat. Most of the time it's not an issue, but occasionally he'll sound really wheezy or cough very phlegm-ily

Does anyone have any tips to help??

ta.

Try taking him into the bathroom while you have a shower. The steam can help loosen mucous.
And make sure he drinks plenty to keep hydrated.
And obviously see GP if you have concerns.

Unless you feel its really affecting his breathing I wouldn't worry too much as phlegm is the bodies way of getting rid of all the 'rubbish'

As dragon says, plenty of fluids, raise his cot head up and put a wet towel over his radiator. Karvol or such like can be soothing too (we use the plug in version)
