Yes, started up last year. Presumed menopause related. On a separate issue with a cardiologist, I had to wear a heart monitor thing for three weeks. They showed up there, but my cardiologist wasn't concerned. But obviously depends on your age and any other symptoms?

I always have them when I’m low on iron, can you get a blood test?

Dehydrated. Oddly, drinking alcohol dehydrates, so 3-5 glasses of water will fix the palpations and headaches.

Need your age, wt and ht before taking a guess.

I am 46 so could be perimenopause. I am going to make an appointment with the GP tomorrow to check it out as I also have Diabetes.

Palpitations were one of my first perimenopausal symptoms.
