When to call for advice with vomiting

Young adult offspring, didn't eat much yesterday. Woke at 5 am and started vomiting, been having episodes all day every 40 minutes on average.

The NHS website says you ring if the vomit is green but since his stomach started empty of course it's been green because he only has bile in there. I'm pretty sure that, at less than 12 hours duration so far, all he needs to do is keep simping water.

But I hate vomiting bugs and don't want to over or under react.

Any advice?

I know it seems simple, but I think it's green because he has nothing in his stomach but bile. Otherwise he hasn't got any worrying symptoms. I can't ring the GP, they are booked up
