Just diagnosed adhd, anyone on elvanse?

Just been diagnosed… going to elvanse… can anyone give me their story on going on it? Little bit worried about side effects? The psychiatrist was great and advised it would mainly be head aches and I had to stay off caffeine to begin with as I might get palpitations? Can anyone share their experience of it with me please?

I am. It's been amazing - suddenly things just seem to get done! I sleep better too, as long as I take it first thing in the morning. I do try to avoid coffee when I'm on it though, as it gives me the jitters.

I started on 20mg and went up to 40. This seems about right for me.

@Bowietips thanks so much for replying. When the medication arrives I’ll be on 30 for 7 days and then 50 and then have a follow up in a month.
is it just coffee? Are you ok with tea and what about alcohol, do you drink and if so do does it have any affect on that?

I do love my first coffee of the day..

did you have any other side effects?

laat question have you found it helps you mentally/emotionally at all? I suffer with RSD and she said it would help with that? It would be amazing if it did.
