Rash on back

I've had this peculiar rash on my back since May. I only have it on my back and a bit on my neck. I've never had eczema (although it might be that?). It's itchy, and blotchy. Doesn't seem to improve by putting on E45. Seems to be spreading and covering more of my back. No allergies that I know of. Suffer from IBS(d) but otherwise well. Any ideas?

To clarify, I have booked a GP appointment, but couldn't get a slot until the beginning of December.

I don't have any ideas other than mild eczema. Have you tried changing your washing powder / fabric conditioner in case you're having a reaction to it?

As you can't get a GP appointment for a month it might be worth going to a chemist and asking if the pharmacist can take a look - I think they can give you a low dose hydrocortisone cream without a prescription.

You can just buy low dose hydrocortisone cream anywhere, doesn't have to be a pharmacy. It is sometimes branded as 'bite and sting' cream and occasionally it is placed with the sun lotion but it is exactly the same composition and strength. Usually 99p in Home Bargains and the like.

I always have some in for skin reactions and rashes. Might be worth a try/
