Hi. I recently had a hysteroscopy for post menopausal bleeding as an Out patient under the rapid access path. A cervical polyp was found and sent off. I then had an email from the Consultant saying he was referring me back to my GP and removing me from the Rapid Access Path and he would write to me with my results.
Today I have received a phone appt for Wednesday with the CNS which I presume stands for Clinical Nurse Specialist, again on the rapid access path.
All google results suggests this means they have found or are investigating cancer? Is this the most likely scenario or is there another explanation? I hope this makes sense. Many thanks.
