Looks like a pimple on top of your mole, I have had that before. I would keep an eye on it over the next few days and see if it goes and if not get it checked.

Even doctors can’t always say whether a mole is suspicious. I had a mole on my back. My GP referred me on the two week cancer referral scheme. The hospital doctor looked at it and decided it was query malignant melanoma. I had it removed and it was a completely benign ordinary mole.

Get it checked @mamabear89xo. No one on Mumsnet can tell you what it is.

Yeah that's what I kinda thought but the whole mole feels raised so just wondered if anyone else had, had it :) thanks for replying

Yeah I know that was just curious if anyone else had it before just so I'm not wasting the GP time :)

I have had four moles removed, one a really nasty looking one but all were fine.

No GP has ever given me the impression I was wasting their time and I have had many checked as I am covered in them so don't feel you are wasting their time.

Yeah I'm covered head to toe in moles so it's hard to tell if any change or look different, I'd be there all day if I was to check but you are right I probs should go get them checked out. Thanks for your reply Flowers

@mamabear89xo hi
Just wondering if you ever got this checked out or if it eventually went? I have a pimple next to a mole also on my chest last looks a little similar to this

Suns1nE · 18/06/2025 09:53

Get it checked. Hopefully it’s nothing but it’s not worth the risk. I had a slightly dodgy mole earlier in the year and went to the GP who was great and didn’t make me feel like I was wasting their at all. I was referred on the 2ww for a biopsy and kept almost cancelling as I thought I was being melodramatic and wasting NhS time, thankfully I didn’t cancel because I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma a little over a month ago and I’m due to have surgery next week for a wider local excision and a lymph node biopsy to see if it’s spread

Hi yeah it ended up being a pimple so it eventually went away :) I did have a mole removed from my back so if you feel uneasy about the mole deff get it checked! X
