I've had issues with my bottom wisdom teeth for years - they're badly impacted and I've been told I'll need to be referred to have them taken out in hospital as they can't do it in the practise.

I've always had more issues with my left including multiple infections and episodes of niggling pain and tenderness. Recently I've noticed pain in the jaw area underneath the tooth - the actual tooth and gum don't hurt but the jaw area is tender to touch (with a reasonable amount of pressure).

This has been going on for a couple months - my GP checked and my lymph nodes are fine (no swelling) and a blood test came back normal. He put it down to stress or a muscular injury but could it be this tooth that's causing me issues?
