6 year molars

My daughter appears to have her lower 6 year molars already, (when I count she has 12 teeth minus the front incisor)
However this morning she said her gums hurt and they look and feel swollen. It's the same on both sides. Any experience with this being the course for 6 year molars?

Or is this a dentist visit?

How old is your daughter?

My daughter is 5, she has her 6 year molars already. I was told it could be an operculum, however I was under the impression that was a flap over an erupting tooth. And she won't have one there until 11ish.
