try rice milk?

do you need calcium?

NatalieJane · 25/04/2008 09:31

I don't know if I need calcium, how do I find that out?

I don't like rice milk either.

I have always happily had milk with cereal etc. but before yesterday when this started the thought of picking up a glass of milk and drinking it literally made me feel sick, I couldn't even watch the DC's whilst they drink milk, but I have had over 4 pint's since yesterday.

This might help.

Is that OK to take during pregnancy? (AFAIK I am not pregnant, but we are TTC'ing)

If you're TTC, it's probably better to try and get calcium from food rather than supplements unless you've checked with your GP. There's a maximum as well as a minimum RDA of calcium, and tablets would make it easy to take too much.

Don't panic though! There's calcium in loads of foods- you don't have to live off milk.

This is a list of calcium rich foods.
