Physically unable to move

My husband had a tia a few months ago. Has had tests for his heart, ct scan, mri scan. Very high cholesterol levels so takes statins. Heart seems fine, however he occasionally freezes - for a minute or 2 he is unable to move at all. I witnessed one of these episodes before the tia, but he had had a couple since. He is unwilling to see a doctor. Could this be linked to the tia or something else?

I do t think anyone here can really say. He absolutely needs to see a GP. Or if you witness it again, call an ambulance.

Is he aware during them? Or could it be something like an absence?

He is aware. I am trying to persuade him to see a GP but he is very much head in the sand, and he also has a serious alcohol problem which he denies.

That freezing in the spot sounds neurological. He needs to see a GP sooner rather than later.

Thankyou, yes I wonder that too. Will try to coerce him into being sensible.
