Yes, I know it looks like a spot but it's not. Should I tell my GP about it

Why do you think it isn't a spot?
Where is it exactly?
How long have you had it?
Does it change?

It looks like a mini-inflamed cystic spot to me.

I think if you have any skin changes you are unsure about then you should visit the doctor.

I had similiar on my ankle, I thought it was a spot but it wouldn't go away, went to the doctor and everything was fine, was not made to feel daft for going.

Edited

Because I can't squeeze it.
On my cheek.
A few months.
Doesn't change.

If it's a mini-inflamed cystic spot what can I do about it? I want it gone

You need to go to your GP

LuluBlakey1 · 26/10/2024 18:28

See your GP- you might need some antibiotics.
Squeezing them can make them worse. Get it checked out. It might need the cyst inside taking out. It looks inflamed.

I have one on my leg that looks like yours, it's been there for years. The doctor told me it was a cherry angioma and harmless. I would get it checked just to make sure it's nothing to worry about though.

Do not squeeze it. Go and see the gp
