Farm Eggs Pregnancy Help!

Before I start I know it’s recommended to eat red lion stamped eggs in pregnancy due to salmonella risk.
However, I popped out with the kids yesterday to pick up some Iocal fresh eggs from an egg box vending machine. This afternoon we had dippy eggs and soldiers and then I suddenly realised that I shouldn’t have eaten those eggs as they aren’t stamped!
To say I am having a panic is an understatement! I’m so worried I’m going to cause major harm to baby, I’m only 5 weeks and as you obviously do feel much as this stage, I’m really worried.

Obviously I won’t do this again but any reassurance or stories from anyone who has done something similar to this please let me know to reassure my brain!

Thankyou!

You ate them yesterday and presumably don’t have salmonella poisoning so I can’t imagine as there will be any problem.

I ate them this afternoon, so by tomorrow if I am okay, would that mean I am in the clear?

Even if they weren’t lion eggs it doesn’t mean you will be ill.

There is far too much scaremongering about food etc towards pregnant women - it’s all based on tiny tiny risk. Or often that we don’t know so advise not to because to do anything else would be unethical.

We have our own chickens who were vaccinated before we got them so I felt that was ok to eat them even though not technically lion stamped. I would say there is a good chance the hens these eggs are from are vaccinated so probably no need to worry. And I say this as someone who stuck to all the other rules when pregnant
