Chest and back pain

Fully aware that chest pain usually warrants an A&E but as I don't think I'm dying I thought I'd ask on here first for opinions

Generally well 30yr old F

I started to get stabbing chest pain yesterday afternoon mostly on the left side which radiated to my left back and shoulder blade. Pain is top of ribs kind of area

Went to sleep last night (albeit uncomfortable after I'd ruled out it was very unlikely I was having a heart attack)

This morning pain seems to be quite central chest and back.
Hurts to breath deeply
Hurting when I eat
Twisting is causing pain

Leaning forward / sitting / lying doesn't make any difference. In fact lying down makes it worse.

I can still feel it in my left shoulder blade

No other symptoms that i can think of

Thoughts / opinions?

Don't disregard this OP. I hope you've at least made an appointment since posting this to have somebody check you over. It's so easy to dismiss chest pain, but so important not to.

Please get it checked.

@LadyLucksalot I'll be completely honest, I have not. I have a little one at home who also isn't very well. I'm hoping it's just a pulled muscle or something 🥲 if it doesn't get any better in the next couple of days I'll definitely see the GP but it doesn't feel life threatening if that makes sense

Hi OP, look up costachondritis.

Sounds very similar to what I had last year
