Is this the same sickness bug??

A couple of weeks ago DD got sent home from school after vomiting. It was Thursday lunchtime She had a fairly short lived stomach bug (less than 24hrs), recovered over the weekend and returned to school on Monday no problems.

On Wednesday night I started with D&V myself. Had a very violent but short stomach bug, again less than 24hrs.

On Sunday DS came down with it.

The gaps seem too long for stomach bug incubation don't they? We have good hygiene in general and extra careful when someone is sick - when I was sick I took care of all the clean up myself and mostly stayed in my room, DH did food prep for 48hrs. 5 full days after DD's last 'episode' til I was sick and 3, nearly 4 full days between my last and DS getting sick. Weird right? Poor DH is scared 😅

Hi. My DC came down with a tummy bug on 23rd September. 8 days later my other DC got it, then 8 days later the next DC got it. Tonight I’ve got it, 9 days later. So, I guess it’s possible. So far I’ve only been sick once(hoping I’ve just overindulged on the wine earlier!) and feel ok ish now. As someone who absolutely DREADS being sick, I’m just glad that all the DC have already had it, so I don’t need to worry about dealing with them being sick if I’m out of action.
