What do I do about this on my toe?

Hard, tough patch of skin on the outside of my big toe. It's really quite sore when I walk on it. Is this what a callus is?
How do I get rid of it? Do I need to go to GP or podiatrist? I've put Flexitom cream on it with socks overnight, also filed it which has helped but it's still a bit tender. Just need some tips please 🙏 xxx

Go to a podiatrist when in doubt. Will get it sorted in no time and prevent other issues

If it’s round it is probably a corn. You can get corn remover pads on Amazon which have worked well for me.

No it's quite large like tough hard skin

Corn or bunion, caused by poorly fitting shoes.

I put corn plasters on for 2-3 days & it brings them out then they just peel off.

Hmm if you’re in pain suggest you see a podiatrist
