Using Tampons.....

I know this is probably abit too much info but I need some advice.

My periods are always quite heavy and I only have one every 8 weeks or so. When I use tampons though I always seem to leak out of them, most of the time it's just clear liquid but I have to use a panty liner aswell. I use super or super plus and it still happens and change every 2 hours or so.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Maybe you could use a nappy sanitary towel aswell. Have you been to see the GP, the pill could help, as could the coil (the hormone one).

You leak clear liquid during a period?

I used to have terribly heavy periods - every 26 days! - and had to use super-plus tampons, changed 2 hourly for about 3 days, and super-plus pads with wings. All the leaks were blood though, not clear liquid - am very puzzled!

Ha ha! I hate using towels. Never been to the GP as just thought this was normal for me! I am not on the pill although thinking about it but last time I went on it it turned me into a monster!

Well sometimes it's abit of clear and other times it will be slightly bloody. And I always find that when I do a wee they tend to slip down abit so I then have to push it back up . Maybe thats it, when I wee the tampons slips abit and then soaks up abit of wee which then comes out later? Other times though it will be slightly bloody. The first 3- 4 days are the worst and then I settle down.

Sorry am rather at my post!

Wrong pill. I get depressed on some of them, others turn me into an angry cow. It's called memoraghia (sp?). Heavy periods are a medical condition. Have a chat, it's not normal. Maybe the pill will sort it out.
