To wonder why my anus feels "hard" after a poo (gross, sorry)

it's like the muscles around it feel super hard after going to the loo. Like they're swollen or something? Is that normal?

I just had a look and....maybe? But there's no pain or bleeding or anything? It's liek that area just swells up after a poo?

They don't always hurt or bleed.

You could try some cream and see if they shrink. Sometimes they can be pushed back in (gross I know). Or you could see your GP if you're worried.

Ok I think it is a hemorrhoid...but it seems to be quite close to the perineum?

Totally possible but if in doubt have it examined.
