red rash on both legs

at above the sock area
odd
google tells me cellulitis but it is both legs so unlikely
first noticed yesterday
one area was hot
today a bit prickly
any ideas.
i took a anti histamine

What sort of rash?
Raised, individual spots, blisters?

Were you wearing socks? when one of our cats had a flea infestation we were bitten all around our sock lines.
