Vulva biopsy - ouch!!!!

I had three biopsies taken from my labia minora a few days ago. My consultant said it would be uncomfortable for a day - he lied!! It’s very sore, and although slightly better than day 1, healing seems slow.
Has anyone had a biopsy on their vulva that can tell me how long it took to heal? Mine was a pinch biopsy, not punch.

I had a vulvar punch biopsy 9 days ago… consultant said it would heal in 3-4 days - another lie!

It was very tender with bleeding for about 5 days. Now there’s no blood and it’s much less tender but still swollen (amusingly just on one side) - I think it will be a good couple of weeks to get back to normal.

@HerbertVonDoodlebug I’m swollen too, biopsies on both sides so it’s currently unrecognisable! He used silver nitrate instead of stitches. I had no bleeding yesterday but then started bleeding again today. I’ll buckle myself in a few weeks of pain!

I had silver nitrate too. It’s much less painful now- just a little uncomfortable if sitting on a hard chair for too long.
