Fish oil for toddlers - has anyone tried?

my mother in law is always telling me to give fish oil to my 2.8 years old. Has anyone tried? Does it have bad side effects? Thanks!

fishoil is an old fashioned way to give vit d3.

just give a vit d supplement in the winter months
