Complex breast cyst - worried :-(

Hello, I had a complex cyst aspirated today.

The consultant said it was a good sign that it was moveable, smooth and the fluid was cystic (no blood). She said that it had thick walls though. She said if it doesn’t go I’ve got to come back and have more tests done. I wish it had just been biopsied as I’m just worrying about it. She said I shouldn’t go away and worry but me being me, I can’t help it. Has this happened with anyone else? Thank you. I’m feeling awful.x

They will probably do cytology testing on the fluid, which will check for abnormal cells, so like having a biopsy. Did she give any indication that you'd get any results from today?

@mauvish no, she said if it didn’t go I’ll need to come back. I am booked for a follow up in 3 weeks time.

I’ve felt the area and it still feels like the lump is there :(
