Copper Coil users.... Have you gained weight???

I'm about to have one fitted, and have been told its better than Mirena.
Can you gain weight on the copper coil??
Are there any other scary symptoms other than heavier periods..?

Is that the one without the hormone?

I had the one with the hormone and it turned me into Loon woman. For about 3 days a month I seriously wanted to kill DH. Just him nobody else

I had it removed between my DC and then after DC2 had it put in again...really, really long heavy periods - sometimes up to 14 days and wanting to kill husband again.

Tried to have it removed and to cut a very long story short I had to have it removed under GA as the threads had got wrapped around the actual coil.... a joyful time

Would not ever use it again.
