Respiratory team appointment for Asthma

I have asthma and it's not very well controlled. After multiple asthma attacks/A&E admissions, I have been referred to the Respiratory team and got a letter today. I am nervous as I have no idea what to expect at this appointment.

Does anyone have any experience to share? What happens? What does this team do exactly?
