My dh suffers terribly with hayfever and has been on (prescription) Loratadine for years, which wasn't doing a brilliant job tbh.

This year he ran out of script and bought the cheap Boots own-brand one (white packet, red writing - can't tell you more as he's got them with him on a business trip so I haven't got them here, but I know it's not loratadine and they are the Boots budget line). He finds they work really well, much better than loratadine. I've also got him on local honey from the specialist honey shop near us but its mega-expensive - £14.50 for tiny jar! Delicious though!

mine really kicked in at 5am this morning, itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing. Had itchy eyes for a couple of weeks now. I take opticron eye drops, beconase for the nose and benadryl tablets.
