Possible FND diagnosis

Last year I suffered with spasms affecting the right hand side of my body. At the time I was going through a rather stressful period, although I didn’t think I was that stressed (if that makes sense). The spasms started from the right foot, thigh and arm, bringing me down onto the floor and lasted for approximately 15-20seconds. I’d never fall because my foot would feel like an electrical current was running through it, so I knew to sit low with it, until it passed.

Anyway, fast forward I had an appointment at the hospital and the consultant diagnosed possible FND. This year, still stressed, but as usual getting on with things I worry it will come back.

Has anyone had similar? Did it return?

Hi there ,
I have also just been diagnosed with FND. My right side is currently paralysed. I have just spent 3 weeks in hospital with it

Hi, so sorry to hear this, but good to hear you’re back home recovering 🌺
Was there anything specific that caused it?

Yes I was having cancer treatment and instead of it attacking my cancer cells it attacked my nerves instead .
