Immunisation - Loss of appetite in 8-week-old - Normal?

Hi,

My 8-week-old DS had his first injections yesterday. Had a fever in the night, gave him Calpol and he's fine this morning. However, he's not drinking as much milk as he usually does. He usually takes a 5-6 oz feed but his last feed, he only took 2.5. He's also more dozy than usual (and he's a very sleepy baby to begin with!). Should I worry? He was more whingey than normal last night but seems okay today... Help!

The injections have probably upset him a little bit as they can have a mild reaction to them. If you are at all worried, call your doc or HV, but he will probably be back to his normal self soon.

Thanks DAISY. He took 5 oz at his last feed so fingers crossed. Was a bit whingey being put to bed though, usually he goes down like a dream. Poor monkey!
