Hi!!

Just noticed this new mole/freckle on my stomach as it was feeling itchy. Never noticed it before and a little concerned! Will call the doc on Monday but just wondering if anyone has had anything similar?

Thank you
Xx

How old are you? I went in with a similar itchy mole on my leg and they said it was just aging 🙄 Hopefully yours will be nothing. I’m in my early 40s btw.

It’s good that you are getting it checked. I had a mole on my back that was query malignant melanoma. The GP referred me on the two week pathway. The doctor at the hospital didn’t like the look of it. I had it removed and it came back as a completely normal mole.

Late 30s! I'm hoping it's nothing but it seems different than other moles and it's come from nowhere! Quite itchy today too. Glad yours wasn't anything to worry about x

This is very reassuring thank you for sharing! And I'm glad your story had a happy ending x

I had one they didn't like the look of, and they removed it, but it was normal.

Sounds like they don't mess about. Hopefully this is nothing also. X

DH had a little scab a bit like that that wouldn't heal. He had it removed and biopsied and it was pre cancerous. He's having photo dynamic light therapy to zap any future sites (bald head).

so it's not just moles people need to keep an eye on. Good luck OP,
