DS has lump on willy

My DS (20 months) has always had a slight bump on the side of his willy and his willy looks ever so slightly lop-sided. We've never thought too much about it, because his willy is little we thought it would just sort of straighten out as he grows.

But we've noticed he doesn't like it when we touch it if we need to wipe it when changing his nappy. If I need to lift his willy (when he's done an explosive poo!) he cries. Other than that he's absolutely fine, no problems with weeing, etc.

We can take him to the doctor later in the week but wondered if anyone has any ideas what it could be?

I think you should take him to the gp if it seems to be causing him pain. If he is 20 months, he is probably going to have a Hv check at 2, or did he have it at 18 months? If he is about to be seen, you could maybe sound HV out about it first.

IMO, the HV will tell you to take him to the GP. Could be a small cyst. You need to take him to the GP.

Our HV has never asked to to go for a health check - they are useless!

I'll take him to the doctors - I just wondered if anyone had any ideas what it could be to stop me worrying until we get an appointment.
