The NHS sends us to do smear tests every 3 years. Do you agree or think it should be more frequent?

More HPV vaccinations should mean less smear tests.

3 years in general is fine as any issues are incredibly slow to develop (10-15 years). And it does become more frequent once you have HPV/abnormal cells to keep an eye on those at highest risk each 6-12 months.

I completely disagree with smear tests since they changed them to HPV testing only. It is unnecessary for women to have to undergo such an invasive test just for a simple HPV swab. Women should be able to do the swab themselves at home and be called for a smear test (cytology) if the swab is HPV+
