Apologies - this is a duplicate post because I had no option to edit the previous one either on the website or the app.
I was diagnosed with coronary artery spasm in 2018 and discharged by the hospital to my GP with medication for as and when use on repeat. I was re-referred to the hospital in 2020, for one appointment only.
During a review with a pharmacist last week I queried why I had not received any monitoring or support from the surgery and she told me that I have not received any monitoring because I am not on 'the Cardiac Register.' The pharmacist said she would ask doctor whether I should go on this register, but I haven't heard anything yet.
I want to pursue this latest failure by my GP surgery, but I cannot find any information online about the surgery's obligations regarding this, what they should have done and how it is supposed to work.
Can anyone who works in primary care help please? Thanks
