Longer period last time, when will i be due again?

My last period lasted 13 days instead of the usual 5, will i come on as normal or will my period be later to co inside with the longer bleeding?

Totally confused!

pucca don,t think I can offer that much advice.
Have you had this happen before.
I would guess that your period will arrive next time in tune with your usual cycle length.
Which is counted from the first day of bleeding to the start of the next period.
Do you have a normal regular cycle usually.

Oooh sorry, just bumped again and cross posts.

Cycles are normally 5 days bleed, 28 days in length, so it is a bit odd. Feel like i have only just stopped and due again today

Does seem odd then, I would see how your periods go from now on and how you feel in yourself.
How old are you and are you ttc at all.

have you seen your gp?my af was going on for 10-11 days after i had dd3,at first i just put it down to my hormones getting back to normal but when it was the same on the 3rd cycle i went to the gp and found out i had an infection.

i had a 26 day cycle and my af just came at the time i would have expected,no matter when the last one finished(i had almost 2 weeks of period,followed by 2 weeks of PMT).

No not TTC, i am 27, although i was on the mini pill which messed my periods up quite a bit, not now though.

So i should just start AF as normal today>?

Did have a slip up though around 10 days ago and had sex so on the look out for AF.

Thought i would be ok as bled for longer, oh god.

I presume you have been off the pill quite a while now so that can,t be to blame, and I presume you have not given birth recently.

It can,t be right to bleed for 13 days though.
I would simply wait and see if your next period seems normal, if the same happens again I would get yourself down the doctors.

well i used to ovulate 2-3 days after af finished even when mine was lasting 10 days.

So i should be ok re the sex? it was about 4 days after the bleeding stopped.

so that would be day 17?i dont know,it would depend when you ovulated.

Don,t want to worry you but if you mean regarding pregnancy then there is always a possibility that you could fall pregnant just after finishing your AF.
AS Divastrop says she used to ovulate 2 - 3 days after af had finished.

I don't know when i would have ov'd, seriously crapping myself now.
